One of only a very few female artists on this website. I have tried to find others, but it is difficult for women to ‘give it up’ to be an artists in Kenya. Traditionally it has always been men who have enjoyed learning and practicing in the arts, really any type of art. But this is slowly changing as women take a larger role in the pursuit of supporting their families.
